Volha Charnysh is a Ph.D candidate in the Department of Government at Harvard University. Her research interests include historical political economy, comparative political behavior, and ethnic politics. Her current projects investigate the enduring effects of post-WWII displacement on economic development in Europe and the social and political impact of the Nazi death camps in the Polish countryside.
